The song I will be performing today is quite personal, it is a song I composed while I was in Benue State Nigeria for my NYSC program. But beyond that, it was a composed out my quest to draw closer to God. I will be performing that beautiful song today, and I simply ask that you join me to sing.
La canción que voy a interpretar hoy es bastante personal, es una canción que compuse mientras estaba en el estado de Benue, Nigeria, para mi programa NYSC. Pero más allá de eso, fue compuesta a partir de mi búsqueda por acercarme más a Dios. Hoy voy a interpretar esa hermosa canción, y solo les pido que se unan a mí para cantarla.
The song "Take me as I am" is a song of total surrender to our creator; it is a song that should be sung by all Christian. The message is short and simple; "I give myself to you on Lord, take me as I am". It is a song that allows us the change to give ourselves wholly to God. To give ourselves to God then, many things must be done, sacrifices must be made; but most importantly, it must reflect in our lives that we have given all to God. It is thus a wake up call to all us Christians, but first we must be willing, and that should show in our lives.
La canción «Take me as I am» (Tómame tal como soy) es una canción de entrega total a nuestro creador; es una canción que todos los cristianos deberían cantar. El mensaje es breve y sencillo: «Me entrego a ti, Señor, tómame tal como soy». Es una canción que nos permite cambiar para entregarnos por completo a Dios. Para entregarnos a Dios, hay que hacer muchas cosas, hay que hacer sacrificios; pero lo más importante es que debe reflejarse en nuestras vidas que lo hemos dado todo a Dios. Por lo tanto, es una llamada de atención para todos los cristianos, pero primero debemos estar dispuestos, y eso debe reflejarse en nuestras vidas.
