This morning I started the day with renewed enthusiasm. The air was still cool as I wandered around looking for snacks and pastries for a simple breakfast. The sound of vendors calling out to customers on the roadside created a typical village morning atmosphere, full of life and warmth. After purchasing some of my favorite pastries, I sat back and enjoyed a cup of hot, soothing coffee. It felt like a renewed energy to start the day.
After that, I headed to the rice fields to continue the work I'd planned for the past few days, clearing the weeds around the plot. The process wasn't easy, but it was rewarding to see the results slowly becoming neat. I also buried the weeds in the mud so they would decompose and act as natural fertilizer for the soil. Besides making the land cleaner, this method also helps maintain soil fertility.
I resumed my work in the afternoon. As the sun began to set in the west, I returned to the rice fields to level the soil while enjoying the gentle afternoon breeze. The sweat I shed was worth it for the sight before me the sky was beginning to change color, a blend of orange and gold. In the distance, the sun slowly set behind the green expanse of the rice fields, creating an unforgettable sight.
Today felt complete. From hunting for morning snacks, enjoying coffee, working in the rice fields, to watching the beautiful sunset, everything brought a sense of gratitude. Although physically tired, my heart felt at peace seeing the fruits of my labor and the beauty of nature that faithfully accompanied every step.
