Hello friends of the hive Music Zone community, my name is @jesus-son and I welcome you all to my blog on this occasion of the week 134 Round 2 of the hive Music festival. I hope that you would love my interpretation for the week.
The song I present is an African version of the song by Christine McCan who sang the Christian hymn Take Our gifts Lord. If you listen to take our gifts Lord, you would think it's the same song I presented here but upon a closer ear to it you would get the difference.
The version I present is titled "We bring our gifts Lord". It is a song for offering thanks to God. It is used mainly for the offertory presentation.
Recently I taught my fellow choir members here in Italy and we sing it at times during the offertory period. Its such an inspiring song.
The part I love most is the second verse which is a prayer to God to make us one. It becomes a song that is very apt for the time we are in. We need to be one in the Lord. We need to see ourselves as one people and not be led astray by the world's way of living in discrimination and racism.
The chorus of the song is "Kumbayaya kumbaya, kumbayaya, kumbaya, kumbayaya kumbaya, oh Lord, kumbaya. The word, kumbaya has been explained to mean come by here. That is the transliteration. Which means a supplication to God to come by.
It is said thatbit is the pidgin English. It is an informal way to speak and perhaps thw person who thought of the song, just used words as it seemed to him or her and that why we have it that way.

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Hive Music Zone, mi nombre es @Jesus-Son y les doy la bienvenida a todos a mi blog sobre esta ocasión de la Semana 134 Ronda 2 del Festival de Música Hive. Espero que te guste mi interpretación para la semana.
La canción que presento es una versión africana de la canción de Christine McCan, que cantó el himno cristiano, Take Our Gifts Señor. Si escuchas a Take Our Gifts Señor, pensarías que es la misma canción que presenté aquí, pero sobre un oído más cercano, obtendrías la diferencia.
La versión que presento se titula "Traemos nuestros regalos Señor". Es una canción para ofrecer gracias a Dios. Se usa principalmente para la presentación del delincuorio.
Recientemente enseñé a mis compañeros de coro aquí en Italia y lo cantamos a veces durante el período del delincuorio. Es una canción tan inspiradora.
La parte que más amo es el segundo verso, que es una oración a Dios para hacernos una. Se convierte en una canción que es muy adecuada para el tiempo en que estamos. Necesitamos ser una en el Señor. Necesitamos vernos a nosotros mismos como una sola gente y no ser extraviados por la forma de vivir en la discriminación y el racismo.
El coro de la canción es "Kumbayaya Kumbaya, Kumbayaya, Kumbaya, Kumbayaya Kumbaya, Oh Señor, Kumbaya. La Palabra, Kumbaya se ha explicado como si signifique aquí. Esa es la transliteración. Lo que significa una súplica a Dios para venir.
Se dice que thatbit es el inglés Pidgin. Es una forma informal de hablar y tal vez esta persona que pensó en la canción, solo usó palabras tal como se le pareció a él o ella y por eso lo tenemos así.
