#APART Initiative: Photography and Song

in ReggaeJAHM3 years ago

Hello ReggaeJahm community, over here sharing a photo that I must say I had a little trouble capturing. It had been a few days when I had seen some birds fly and stop in mid-flight, as if they saw something from the heights and entertained themselves with it, I wanted to capture them, but when that happens it's fast enough, as to give me the time to take out my phone, unlock, open the camera and capture the image.

It's only seconds that they do it, but one day from the terrace of my house I stayed installed waiting for that event to happen, phone in hand as if I were a hunter, but this time to shoot my camera, it would be the only thing I would shoot so far.

Some time passed before some birds started to appear, there is no fixed time, I don't know what kind of birds they are, but I wanted to immortalize that paralyzed flight in the air, yes, I know that all flight implies weighing in the air, but the curious thing about this is that they stay paralyzed as if they were holding on to the space they are in.

I would have liked to have a super camera to be able to have and share a better image, with higher resolution, but my phone, even though its camera is not bad, the following image was the one I was able to capture.

When you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth forever with your eyes fixed on the sky, for there you have been and there you will always long to return. " Leonardo Da Vinci

Surely at some point we have experienced things that have made us fly, that have taken us to other spheres, and you know that I am not referring to a literal flight, but to those experiences that in one way or another allow us to feel that life has another meaning, another way of being carried, and that it is even possible to fly without the need to take our feet off the ground.

I would like to share a song that was covered in Reggae style, that I particularly liked, I hope you do too:

Fly me to the moon - Frank Sinatra | Tropavibes Reggae Cover

It's a classic song, performed by Frank Sinatra a few years ago now, but I found the adaptation very cute.

Greetings to all, have a great weekend.

That looks like a hawk looking down on some rodent, not sure but it does look predatory. Hey thats a nice reggae take on a classic! Hope the weekend is going great!
