I have been in congregation of different choir gatherings and I have been able to see that there are different things that do occur during their rehearsal section and which might be frustrating and it is also a common thing among some set of people which I will be talking about further in the post. Why most choirs hold rehearsals for hours and still don't achieve what they actually aim to achieve before the beginning of the rehearsal? My point will be going gradually one after the other so that all will be attended to without leaving anyone.

First, for a rehearsal to be a success it depends on individual impact and their positive mindset to work so I said earlier that I have attended different choir rehearsals and saw how they do so this made me to ask the question why do most instrumentalists find it difficult to score a song even if it is not hard, and they tend to start listening to that particular song the day of rehearsal. I remember this particular song that was dropped in the choir platform weeks before the day we were to meet and the title of the song is Let There Be Light, funnily not all the instrumentalists checked out the song till that very day and when it started, it was causing set back to those that have listened to the song earlier because they will need to work together with those on the instruments.
The link to the song they rehearsed
I think this has happened a lot of times and it is making it look like some of the instrumentalists are not that serious because they think within a short time they can perfect what they have not heard before and which is not possible because there will be some lagging behind in some aspect. During rehearsals, not all grab things easily even after they have even heard It before so this might bring about frustration from the coordinator because those songs have been sent earlier for all to listen to and still no difference The last rehearsal which i attended on Sunday with some group of people, they started before i get there so I met them already doing a certain song which i have scored years ago and it is just been done now in that choir so I sat like i was a novice in that aspect and the first I observed that the instrumentalist there were not communicating with each other and this can't make playing perfect because each will want to do things in his or her way that pleases.
So it got to a certain point where the drummer and the keyboardist were supposed to jam together but it didn't happen because they didn't even communicate so to me I feel they still lack in that aspect but I was not able to correct them because I did like a novice actually due to my first time there and it might be humiliating if I go and give any correction if they have ego. But I just gain something there which I will surely use for my own choir to make them better.
