Hello Hive Open Mic community, it's week #180 of our weekly concert here on hive.. I'm sorry I'm late, quite tasking combining work with hive but my love for music and the community as a whole keeps me going. It was quite a busy week for me that I almost missed this week's entry. For this week I'd be performing a classic by British singer, pianist and composer Sir Elton John called "Can you feel the love tonight" in line with this week's theme "Disney"🐭. This song was written for the 1994 animated Disney movie "The lion king". I'm sure most of us here would have seen this movie 😉. I was a little confused as to what song to present for the week's entry, till I saw @jmis101's entry covering this song. I remembered this amazing track instantly and I never really knew how to sing it, hearing her entry stirred up the interest in me...I personally think it's perfect for the theme. It's a really romantic song with so much emotions attached to it, sad /happy...all depends on how you feel. This classic is a masterpiece and I think you all should go listen to it, lol but listen to my cover first 😊....This song though released almost 3 decades ago is still as fresh as ever, always lovely to listen to. Hola comunidad de Hive Open Mic, es la semana #180 de nuestro concierto semanal aquí en Hive. Lamento llegar tarde, es una tarea bastante complicada combinar el trabajo con Hive, pero mi amor por la música y la comunidad en general me mantiene activo. Fue una semana bastante ocupada para mí y casi me pierdo la entrada de esta semana. Para esta semana interpretaré un clásico del cantante, pianista y compositor británico Sir Elton John llamado "¿Puedes sentir el amor esta noche?" en línea con el tema de esta semana "Disney"🐭. Esta canción fue escrita para la película animada de Disney de 1994 "El rey león". Estoy seguro de que la mayoría de nosotros aquí habríamos visto esta película 😉. Estaba un poco confundido sobre qué canción presentar para la entrada de la semana, hasta que vi la entrada de @jmis101 versionando esta canción. Recordé esta increíble canción al instante y nunca supe realmente cómo cantarla, escuchar su entrada despertó mi interés... Personalmente creo que es perfecta para el tema. Es una canción realmente romántica con tantas emociones asociadas, triste/feliz... todo depende de cómo te sientas. Este clásico es una obra maestra y creo que todos deberían ir a escucharlo, jajaja, pero primero escuchen mi versión 😊... Aunque esta canción se lanzó hace casi 3 décadas, sigue tan fresca como siempre y siempre es encantadora de escuchar. Espero que todos disfruten 🎧 mi versión de este clásico... Espero estar aquí la próxima semana también 😀, disfruten su fin de semana 🥂.
