It’s always a joy to be here again. I’m Anniebest, and this is Hive Music Festival Week 136 – Round 1. In this week’s rendition, I’m doing a cover of the powerful worship song “Be Lifted” by MOGmusic, a Ghanaian gospel artist whose music continues to bless lives around the world.
This particular song came to me at a very emotional moment. I woke up feeling a mix of emotions—confusion, heaviness, and worry. But right in the middle of those feelings, I heard a still, small voice in my heart that whispered, "Why not worship instead of worrying?" That gentle nudge changed everything for me. Instead of dwelling on my troubles, I began to lift my voice in worship, and peace filled my heart.
“Be Lifted” is more than just a song to me, it is a spiritual atmosphere changer. It exalts the majesty and supremacy of God over every other thing. The lyrics are simple but deeply profound. They remind us that nothing is greater than God, and that before His throne, every situation, fear, or challenge must bow. No matter what we face, we can always lay our crowns, our burdens, pride, and fears before the lord in worship.
