Hello, Hive open mic community!
I'm so glad to make it for this week's music event, it's been a tight week for me, irrespective, I promised myself not to fail this week as we've got an interesting theme by our spotlight artist of the week which is 'Fire of love'.

I decided to do a cover of Rihanna and Eminem's song titled 'Love the Way You Lie' This is part two of this song as there is also a part one that started differently but with almost the same lyrics, it's just the rap part by Eminem that differs. it perfectly fits the theme of the week, as it talks about couples who are deeply in love even though it hurts at times, they can't seem to let each other go, it became so intense.
In the chorus part, "just gonna stand there and watch me burn, it's alright I love the way you lie" it shows its an helpless love, she can't help herself from loving her partner, even though he hurts her by telling her lies, I couldn't do the rap part by Eminem, but the lyrics also shows he loves her so intensely as well, but his demons somehow still makes him end up hurting her.
