Hive Music Festival Week 14 - Round 2 - Easy on me (cover) by @jessicaossom

I will be performing a cover of Adele's 'Easy on me' for the second round of the Hive music festival.

I am sorry that I have not been able to participate in the first round of the competition. This is because I was not aware of the existence of a community like this on the blockchain.

It is my first time interacting with the community. The first time that I came across it was when I was interacting with some other hivers earlier this week.

I missed out on the first round, and this is officially my first presentation in the community.

I love the fact that Hive is giving a lot of users the chance to do what they love and have a pleasant time engaging with the blockchain.

Music is one thing that makes me feel happy when I'm not busy with work. It also helps to maintain the flow of dopamine in my body, which in turn keeps me feeling positive.

Before now, I only participated in the Hive open mic and Afrritunes community. Those communities are ones that I've found to be amazing and I never want to miss a week without participating. I trust that I will get the same vibe here too and I am excited already.

I'm sure that many of us already know the song 'Easy on me'. After doing a bit of research, I discovered that Adele wrote this song about the challenging periods of her life. She lost her marriage for some reason, and her childhood was not as good as she would have liked. She felt broken all through that period.

Throughout our lives, there is a certain feeling that every human being will experience at some point. I would have said otherwise if we could not feel, but we all do feel.

Adele said that she wanted to use the song to pass a message to someone who also suffered through a divorce with her.

In conclusion, the song may not heal the wound of a broken heart, but at least it will give a sense of hope.

I guess that was what Adele was trying to do.

If you're struggling through a similar situation, please know that there is hope and you will be fine.

I think music has that healing power, besides allowing us to express and release what we feel through songs and melodies, I think it is a magical power that unites us.

I agree with you, it has a healing power (that's the sense of hope) and because it is a very nice song, it is magical.

But, I did not sing along with the original song @yisusth

The only voice in the presentation is mine.I kind of duplicated my voice.

The voice of the original artist isn't there at all, it is just the instrumentals of the song and my voice that's all.

I sang along with the instrumentals of the song which I got from the Moises app.

That's what I always do in other music platforms that I am in here on Hive, you can check my blog, I have a lot of video there. I'm an active user in the Afritunes community and Hive Open Mic.

I created a harmony of this song with my voice and edited it with the Inshot app.

In summary, all I am trying to say is that I only sing along with the instrumentals aof a song and not the long itself.

It's alright😀...The voices were mine.
While I was editing the video, I didn't want it to sound ordinary, so I decided to duplicate my voice. I kind of like the effect.

Yeah, Moises.ai is an interesting app for musicians. Check it out.😃

Originally, we only allow entries if the artists are accompanied by an instrument. That is, no karaoke. Which is your case. But honestly, hearing you, we have considered the idea of resuming karaoke as a valid entry. We are still studying it, but there is the possibility of activating this tool for the musician.

Originalmente, solo permitimos entradas si los artistas están acompañados de algún instrumento. O sea, no karaoke. Lo que es tu caso. Pero sinceramente, al oírte, nos hemos planteado la idea de retomar el karaoke como entrada válida. Todavía lo estamos estudiando, pero está la posibilidad de activar esta herramienta para el músico.

Okay, @yisusth also thought that I sang with the track, however, I don't sing along with tracts but only the instrumentals of a song.

I'm my video, I edit my voice by duplicating it so it would sound like harmony. The original song has no backing vocals, so I just sang the same way twice and edited it in my video.

So the entry isn't a karaoke because I wasn't singing along with the original artist. All through from the beginning to the end, I was the only one singing.
