Hey friends of Hive and Hive music community members, I welcome you to my blog. I go by the name @oluthomas.
We are in week 139, round 1 of the Hive Music Festival, and I will be singing a worship song from a renowned gospel singer from Nigeria, a songwriter, trumpeter, and sound preacher of the word of God (Bible). I will be singing one of His songs titled "Adonai." This is one of God's names, Adonai.
I now began to understand that God has different names; he doesn't operate with one name. People of old were able to touch dimensions of God, and they got some names from the throne of Grace, names like Jireh, Yahweh, Yeshua, Jehovah Rapha, Alpha and Omega, El Roi, El Elyon, Elohim, etc. These are some of the names of God, and they have their significant meaning. So everyone needs to touch the dimensions of God in order to know Him for yourself and to know who He is in your life. Some called Him "I am that I am," meaning anything you want Him to become for you, He can. He is that thing you want him to be, so if you refer to him as a strong God, you are right; you are not wrong. Referring to him as the way-maker is still not wrong, and that will not change why he is God of all the earth.
This is a song of worship to God; it says, "From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same, let the name of the Lord be hallowed," or "Let's shout his name to the hearing of everyone by calling him Adonai." I really liked the song, and I do sing the song mostly when I am alone. I sing it to the glory of God and for His goodness upon my life. For not letting me down and for all the provision and guidance, I call him that name.
Thank you very much for going through my post. Remain blessed, and please comment, upvote, and render support of any kind. Thanks to you all my beloved family.
