This song right here — “H-A-P-P-Y” — means a lot to me. I actually wrote it after getting inspired by one of those classic songs we used to sing back in Nigerian primary school. You know the ones — where the whole class would be clapping, laughing, shouting, and somehow everyone knew the lyrics 😅. Those moments had this special kind of joy that I’ll never forget.
I wanted to bring that feeling bac. That pure, simple happiness that came from being a kid, surrounded by friends, singing at the top of your voice. So, I took that childhood memory and turned it into a full song. Something fun, nostalgic, and full of life ✨
I recorded it recently on BandLab, just experimenting and letting the inspiration flow.
This is my entry for the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, and honestly, I’m just happy to share it with you all. I hope it brings a smile, maybe even reminds you of those morning assemblies, break-time songs, or that one classmate who always made music feel magical 😄
