Hello everyone π€π€ welcome to Afritunes week 73. For this week, I will be doing a cover of one of the suggested songs in the community "Show me off" by Asa.
I really do not know much about the artist Asa but the few songs I have heard her sing are great and wonderful and this particular song of hers is not an exemption.
I have been hearing the song but didn't really know how to sing all the lyrics. I was conversant with the first stanza alone so when I saw it as one of the suggested songs I decided to give it a try.
The song for me is a love and romantic song which talks about Asa desiring to be shown to the world by her lover. She professes her love to her lover and promises to live her life with him.
Love is a beautiful thing and fulfilled when you are with the right person. The world has turned into something else where we can no more trust anyone or even believe the words that comes out from your lover.
Despite all that, I am sure that there are still few good persons around. Asides from money or other material things, I prefer being with someone who makes you happy and is willing to make your relationship him or her work.
Asa must have been so in love with her lover and from the lyrics, she went all out expressing herself and I actually like that. Such should be expected I guess because if you love someone, you need to go all out for him or her and make your partner feel it.
