I've listened to Dr. Pst Paul's few songs and this happens to be among the best for me. This song is more of a heart cry to the perfect will of the father. There are times when someone can be willing to do anything to keep in touch with the person he or she loves. In this song, Pastor Paul was showing the dept of His love towards the things of God, he is ready to dislike whatever God dislikes and he is ready to like what God likes. He is totally ready and willing to do what God wants him to. I think this is the perfect form of love, this is a strong desire to fellowship with God.
By liking what God likes and adhering to his wishes, we automatically establish a perfect relationship with Him. It's not enough to say you love God, but your actions and character should show forth your love for God. Well, most times our desires to love God gets cold and colder due to some uncertainties that might befall us but in the love of God lies strength to carry on. When you hold God because of what He gives you, the day you pray and ask for something from Him and He doesn't supply it to you, you might want to loose interest on Him. Loving God is more than material things. I suggest you hold God by something that even in hard times you will not let go of Him.
