I start my morning with a cup of hot coffee, its aroma so soothing. The warmth of the coffee seems to give me renewed energy to face the day's routine, especially since the morning air is cool and fresh. As I sip my coffee, my thoughts turn to the work that awaits me in the rice fields.
Shortly afterward, I head to the rice fields to clear the land for planting. Today, Thursday, I dedicate more time to it. Clearing the land isn't easy, but there's a certain satisfaction in seeing the weeds begin to subside and the soil slowly become ready to receive new seeds. I continue this activity until midday, my body covered in sweat but my heart feeling light because an important step has been completed.
After a short rest at home, I continue with another equally important routine: delivering bread to my favorite shops. This activity has become a part of my daily routine, and every time I meet the shop owners, I feel a special warmth because the relationships we form are not just about buying and selling, but also about friendship.
Towards the end of the day, I make time to go back to the rice fields. This time, not to work, but simply to observe the condition of the rice plants. My heart felt both happy and touched as I watched the rice grains begin to fill, a sign that harvest time was slowly approaching. The afternoon atmosphere in the rice fields was beautiful; the gentle breeze made the rice paddies sway like small waves, soothing the view.
This day felt complete. From sipping coffee in the morning, working in the fields, delivering bread, to returning to the fields in the evening, everything brought its own story and a sense of gratitude. May the efforts undertaken today bear sweet fruit come harvest time. 🌾☕
