Hive Open Mic 187 - "Sleeping Child" Cover

Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music lovers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song choice for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @usagidee

I'm choosing to share the cover of the song titled "Sleeping Child" by "Michael Learns To Rock", for the theme of the week "A Peaceful Song"

Before anything, I'd love to ask... Do you have that one or more songs you sing a lot or you think you know but you keep singing a line in the lyrics wrongly all the time?

This song is one of them for me and the reason is kinda understandable, it was my lullaby song when I was little. Dad would play it all night alongside other some Celine Dion and Michael Bolton songs. This one stands out for me because I've never thought about learning it well enough to sing it so this came as a chance for me.

This song "Sleeping Child" is a song with a very beautiful meaning and as the theme requests, it is a perfect peaceful song that gave me a lot of peaceful rests during my childhood.

I keep mistaking a line in the lyrics "But you barely rolled" instead of "But you've build your own" 😂 well, I didn't make that mistake in my cover at last so I guess I've gotten the hang of the song well enough. And there you have it, a cover of one of my childhood musical companion, the perfect peaceful song.
