I did a rendition of Yeshua by Folabi Nuel. Today, I was just sitting quietly, thinking about life and reflecting on how things have been going. Sometimes I ask myself, whenever I have problems, who do I really run to? At times I feel like going to my parents, but they are not always capable of giving me what I want. Sometimes I consider my friends, church, or relatives, but they also are not capable of giving me what I want.
And sometimes, what I want at that moment is not money. It’s emotional support, someone who can truly hear me. But often, no one can, except the voice of the Spirit that whispers to me.
I have tried communicating my problems to many people, but the end result is always something else. Either I hear things I’ve heard before, or they start giving advice that doesn’t really take me anywhere in life.
But thank God for God, for always giving me a listening ear. He does not mind my limitations or shortcomings. He is always there to see me through and guide me on the path eternal. When I call in times of trouble or sorrow, He is my comfort. When I am in need, He makes a way where there seems to be no way.
All thanks to God for His goodness. It is real. He never sleeps nor slumbers, and He never gets tired of hearing my cry when I call on Him. His name is a strong tower; anyone who runs to Him is saved.
