Caribbean music usually is colourful, diverse and upbeat as it includes many styles like reggae, dancehall, calypso e.t.c. Cheap Thrills by Sia is a dancehall song which is part of the features of Caribbean music. I had to do some research on Google in order to really understand what Carribbean music and sound is, I had to learn some features of Caribbean music which is really interesting, the culture and all.
We all know Sia as a vocal powerhouse whose range is really amazing,with a very strong voice. Firstly I had to find a way to make the song suitable for me as the original key of the song was really high for me to sing on...So I had to increase the key of the song by two octaves and sang on the low octave...pardon me friends, it might not sound as good on me cause really I don't like singing low but for this song which is one of my favourite till date, I had to take the challenge and I do hope you guys vibe with me.
Cheap thrills simply talks about how money isn't everything, there are loads of things that don't cost much money but are priceless. Sia is telling us that life's not just about money or luxury that in life money does not give us pure happiness you should just be free to have fun the way you want and enjoy true happiness. It's simply a song that tells you to have fun rich or poor, old or young, girl or boy whoever you are? Have fun wherever you are with whatever you have. Waiting till we get all we want before having fun would just lead to disappointment and we being moody the whole time. Create your happiness, don't let anyone's definition of fun affect your own happiness. Happiness is key to go through life, no matter how little it is...do that thing that gives you a sense of fulfillment, joy and laughter. You really don't need a lot, Happiness is a choice, Happiness is a state of mind and Happiness comes from within.

Es la semana 140 de nuestro concierto semanal y, como siempre, estoy emocionado de compartir mi entrada y ver otras entradas increíbles de otros 😊. En línea con el tema de esta semana "The Sea (Carribbean)" elegido por el artista destacado reciente @thelooter, haría una versión de una canción de la cantautora australiana Sia llamada "Cheap Thrills".
La música caribeña suele ser colorida, diversa y animada, ya que incluye muchos estilos como reggae, dancehall, calypso, etc. Cheap Thrills de Sia es una canción dancehall que forma parte de las características de la música caribeña. Tuve que investigar un poco en Google para entender realmente qué es la música y el sonido caribeños, tuve que aprender algunas características de la música caribeña que son realmente interesantes, la cultura y todo.
Todos conocemos a Sia como una potencia vocal cuyo rango es realmente asombroso, con una voz muy fuerte. En primer lugar, tenía que encontrar una manera de hacer que la canción fuera adecuada para mí, ya que la tonalidad original de la canción era muy alta para que la cantara... Así que tuve que aumentar la tonalidad de la canción en dos octavas y canté en un tono más bajo. octava... discúlpenme amigos, puede que no me suene tan bien porque realmente no me gusta cantar bajo, pero para esta canción, que es una de mis favoritas hasta la fecha, tuve que aceptar el desafío y espero que ustedes vibra conmigo.
Cheap thrills simplemente habla de cómo el dinero no lo es todo, hay un montón de cosas que no cuestan mucho dinero pero que no tienen precio. Sia nos está diciendo que la vida no se trata solo de dinero o lujo, que en la vida el dinero no nos da la felicidad pura, solo debes ser libre para divertirte como quieras y disfrutar de la verdadera felicidad. Es simplemente una canción que te dice que te diviertas rico o pobre, viejo o joven, niña o niño quienquiera que seas? Diviértete estés donde estés con lo que tengas. Esperar hasta obtener todo lo que queremos antes de divertirnos solo nos llevaría a la decepción y a estar de mal humor todo el tiempo. Crea tu felicidad, no dejes que la definición de diversión de nadie afecte tu propia felicidad. La felicidad es clave para ir por la vida, no importa lo poco que sea... haz eso que te da una sensación de plenitud, alegría y risa. Realmente no necesitas mucho, la felicidad es una elección, la felicidad es un estado mental y la felicidad viene de adentro.
