I start my morning with a cup of hot coffee, a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of activity. The aroma of coffee is so calming and energizing to start the day. Afterward, I immediately get ready to deliver bread to several of my regular shops. This work has become a daily routine, and it also brings a certain satisfaction in helping customers get fresh bread every morning.
Towards noon, I move to the rice fields to tend to the rice plants. This planting season has been quite challenging because the rice snail pest has begun to appear and threatens the rice growth. I spray to control the pests to prevent their growth. I also clear weeds growing along the borders of the fields. This work is quite tiring, but it feels easy because I believe the results will have a positive impact on the growing rice plants.
In the afternoon, my body feels tired, but my heart is relieved to see the rice fields starting to look neater and more well-maintained. Simple routines like this are part of daily life in the village, where every drop of sweat is a hope for a good harvest to come. 🌾💪
