Morning is always the most enjoyable time to start any activity. As usual, I start the day with a cup of hot coffee while enjoying the fresh morning air. The fragrant aroma of coffee seems to energize me before starting work. As I sip my coffee, I prepare myself for the daily routine that awaits me delivering bread to several shops around Lhokseumawe.
The morning commute feels so lively. The bustling city streets, rows of shops preparing to open their doors, and warm greetings from regular customers make the work atmosphere feel lighter. Every time I bring down a loaf of bread still warm from the oven, I feel a sense of satisfaction seeing the smiles of the shopkeepers eagerly awaiting my merchandise. This work is simple, but meaningful because it is from here that the wheel of life continues to turn.
Towards noon, I take a short break at home to unwind. However, the afternoon is not a time for laziness. As the sun begins to set in the west, I head to the rice fields to continue clearing weeds and grass. There, the serene atmosphere, with the sound of birds and the trickling of irrigation water, brings a sense of peace.
Clearing the rice fields does require effort and patience, but seeing the land tidied up and ready for planting brings a sense of satisfaction. Under the fading light of dusk, I realize how beautiful life is when lived with simplicity, hard work, and gratitude. The day ends with a feeling of relief and happiness ready to welcome a new tomorrow with the same enthusiasm.
