Hello Afri-tunes community
It's great to be a part of this week's campaign being the 32nd week of the AFRI-TUNES singing campaign and this week have come with a song by Johnny drille titled LIES.
This post is particularly commemorating the #endsars protest which is occured on 20th of October 2020, because of the massacre of Innocent lives at the Lekki toll gate.
Youths who had the best of intentions decided to come out en-mass for a peaceful protest against police brutality and bad leadership which has plagued the society and also hindered smooth growth of the economy and especially affecting the freedom of the youth to thrive in business and life generally.
Sadly we were met with an unfortunate disaster when the military forces recommended to open fire upon innocent armless youths.
Our plights were not attended to and it is on record that this sad event was totally denied by the military until a panel was set up by the presidency after so much pressure and pleading and discoveries where unleashed as some were tightly hidden.
We are almost at another election year and it is obvious how the same set of people are up again to contest for the position of power with campaigns and promises.
they have connived with a lot of harmful youth to push their agenda forward and we want them to know that we have not forgotten so easily how that use all over Nigeria were shot at and killed. If it happened at lekki toll gate then it happened to all of us all over the country.
If they killed one of us then they shot at all of us.
The song by Johnny drille typifies the exact way politicians come to lie to us and where all sorts of skins in deciet and try to win the heart of people who are just like them.
We believe in the new Nigeria I will believe that the miracle we need has come if only we put in our best to vote rightly.

Es genial ser parte de la campaña de esta semana, ya que es la semana 32 de la campaña de canto AFRI-TUNES y esta semana ha venido con una canción de Johnny Drille titulada LIES.
Esta publicación conmemora especialmente la protesta #endsars que tuvo lugar el 20 de octubre de 2020, debido a la masacre de vidas de Inocentes en el peaje de Lekki.
Los jóvenes que tenían las mejores intenciones decidieron salir en masa para una protesta pacífica contra la brutalidad policial y el mal liderazgo que ha plagado a la sociedad y también ha impedido el crecimiento fluido de la economía y, especialmente, que afecta la libertad de los jóvenes para prosperar en los negocios y la vida en general.
Lamentablemente nos encontramos con un desafortunado desastre cuando las fuerzas militares recomendaron abrir fuego contra jóvenes inocentes sin brazos.
Nuestros sufrimientos no fueron atendidos y consta en actas que este triste hecho fue totalmente negado por los militares hasta que se formó un panel por parte de la presidencia después de tanta presión y súplicas y descubrimientos que se desataron ya que algunos estaban bien escondidos.
Estamos casi en otro año electoral y es obvio cómo el mismo grupo de personas se levanta nuevamente para disputar la posición de poder con campañas y promesas.
se han confabulado con muchos jóvenes dañinos para impulsar su agenda y queremos que sepan que no hemos olvidado tan fácilmente cómo dispararon y mataron a ese uso en todo Nigeria. Si sucedió en la puerta de peaje de lekki, nos sucedió a todos en todo el país.
Si mataban a uno de nosotros, nos disparaban a todos.
La canción de Johnny drille tipifica la forma exacta en que los políticos vienen a mentirnos y donde todo tipo de pieles se engañan y tratan de ganarse el corazón de personas que son como ellos.
Creemos en la nueva Nigeria. Creeré que el milagro que necesitamos ha llegado si solo ponemos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para votar correctamente.
