When I checked the Hive Open Mic pinned post for this week and saw the topic, I just smiled and said to myself, “I’ve got a song for that.” The theme for Week 290 is “The Glory.”
When we talk about The Glory, it’s not only referring to a supreme being. Even humans have their own kind of glory. Just as the Bible puts it, “Even Solomon, with all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these flowers.” That means men have glory, and God and other divine beings have theirs too.
But for my entry, we’ll be considering a glory that cannot be compared to one that cannot be easily understood by mortal eyes, a glory that controls the earth and the heavens.
I know many people might be confused about this, but think about it: if someone asks you, “What object holds the sky?” or “Why does rain fall in one place and not another?” there’s really no complete answer. Science may try to explain it, but there are limits.
I’ve come to understand that the Glory of the Lord is everywhere in the sea, the sky, the land, and the air. Everywhere you look, the glory of God is present.
For this week, I sang a song by Dunsin Oyekan titled “When He Walks In.” It’s a song that talks deeply about the glory of God. I’ve noticed that humans often don’t appreciate the things we see around us things that seem little but are actually great in their own way. Sometimes I ask myself, “Who commanded the mountains to stand firm?” or “Who designed those beautiful rocks?” When you look closely, you might think they were crafted by man, but that’s the glory of God at work. 😹
The glory of God can so clothe a person and give that person a divine enablement that makes him unstoppable.
I think I’ll stop here. I hope you understand the point I’m trying to make. Please do well to drop your comment. love you all, family. ❤️
