Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog!
This is Hive Music Festival Week 139, Round 1, and I’m your girl Anniebest. I'm super excited to be part of this week’s edition. It’s always a beautiful experience to connect with people who share similar passions for music and worship. That’s one of the things I truly love about this community, it brings so much joy and fulfillment to me.
For this week’s rendition, I decided to do a cover of the powerful song “Anchor” by Hillsong Worship. Hillsong is known globally for their deep, spirit-filled worship songs, and their lyrics always have a way of touching the heart and soul. Their music draws you into a place of sincere worship and reflection. You can’t listen to Hillsong without being spiritually moved.
I specifically chose Anchor because of its meaningful message. Often, we find ourselves placing hope in people or material things that eventually fail us. But the song reminds us that there is a sure and steadfast anchor for our souls, Jesus Christ. Through His endless love, He has swept away all fear. No matter the storm, we can trust Him completely because He never fails.
My prayer is that someone out there finds renewed hope and strength through this song. Let Jesus be the anchor for your soul, even in the toughest seasons.
