Hello Afri-tunes community, my name is Kmichealson, and it's Afri-tunes week 122 - I'm really glad to be participating this week.
For this week, I composed an original Afrobeat song, it's a love song, with very smooth melody and groove to it. The title of this song is 'Time For the Healing'.
The message of this song revolves around a man who is in love with a woman. But she has gotten her heart broken many times in the past by men in her past relationships. And in the past, men have broken her trust.
As a result, she doesn't believe the confession of love from the man who truly loves her. But he knows that deep down in her heart, she could feel that he is different from her past relationships. And that his love for her is true.
The message of the song talks about how she needs some space, and distance and time - in order for her to process her feelings; and acknowledge that her heart belongs to him, and that she was in love with him deeply, the same way he was in love with her.
