There’s a popular adage that says, “Wisdom is profitable to direct or lead.” my gosh and the Bible also tells us that wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom, and with all your getting, get understanding.
This week marks Week 170 of our amazing community’s weekly contest or prompt, and I’m excited to participate once again with something unique and amazing. For this week’s entry, I will be singing a powerful and a song of the spirit song titled “Rest on Me” by Apostle Joshua Selman the president and founder of koinonia worship centre started from Kaduna but presently have branches all over the world.
Lately or in recent time, this song has captured my heart in a deeper and unexplainable way and i have found myself completely into it. I can't take my attention or my gaze off it this very song because the song has been such a blessing to me personally, and the beautiful thing is that it has also impacted those around me positively. I usually say that if I love something, and you’re close to me, just get ready to fall in love with it too! That’s exactly what’s been happening with this song.
The lyrics of this song “Rest on Me” carry a very heavy presence and a yearn for God that goes beyond the surface. It stirs up a hunger for divine to crave for more wisdom and fresh fire. And truly, this is a time when we need the Holy Spirit to rest upon us more than ever.
In this life, everyone needs wisdom to navigate or scale through, the challenges and demands we face daily. Without wisdom, a person can remain in cycles of pain, confusion, and stagnation due to the lack of wisdom. But once wisdom comes into place, boom understanding begin to change. Many or believers perish not because they are weak, but because they lack knowledge. That’s why it’s so important to seek wisdom and understanding in all we do in life.
