Hello Afri-tunes community and all music lovers, I hope we all are doing okay... It's Afri-tunes week #78 and for this beautiful week I'll presenting a song by Moses Bliss titled "daddy wey dey pamper."
Moses Bliss is a Nigerian gospel minister, who is blessed with so much grace and anointing, he has been blessing us aswell with his songs, and so far so good I can say I really love his music, have been blessed personally.
The song is a combination of both English and pidgin, maybe I love it more cus of the pidgin, it makes it more African and personal.
The song talks about the love of God for mankind, even at times when we're not fully in line with Him, He still consider us and decides to show us mercy. This kind of love is too good and very scarce, no other person can give such love to anyone, it can only be God.
Who can say that his being alive is by his power or wisdom, we all are living by the mercies of God. He's the one that has been protecting and keeping from all evil. Despite the bad news we do hear everyday, God still decides to keep us safe from all that, it's not because those that are victims of this bad occurrences are all bad people but its just the mercy of God that has been working for us. May his mercy always be on us everyday of our lives. (Amen)
So I did an Acapella version of the song, which I hope you all will enjoy with me, thanks.
SONG LYRICS
Even when I fall your hand
You still dey hold my hand
Lover of my soul, You nor dey break my heart
I’ll sing about your mercy
I’ll sing about your grace
Na u dey burst my brain
Every night and day
Daddy wey dey pamper
Daddy wey Dey bless
Forever you’re my father
Na u dey give me rest
When I look around
I see your faithfulness
I’ll bow down on my knees
Cos na u wey be the best
