HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 270 //ORIGINAL SONG// HOLY SPIRIT YOU ARE WELCOME
Hello friends of Hive and amazing community members of Hive OpenMic, I welcome you all to my blog. I go by the name @oluthomas, and I am thrilled to share my talent with this amazing community that has great facilitators and wonderful members that support each other's craft, and I pray the good Lord blesses everyone.
I will sing an original song that I received early morning while I woke up, and the first thing I did was I took the guitar, and I asked my friend what the theme for this week for Hive Open Mic was, and he told me Holy Spirit, and immediately I opened my mouth, and here he comes, the Holy Spirit came upon me, and here is the song that I started singing, and I can proudly say that I did not pen down the song; I just started singing, and everything flowed. I titled it “Holy Spirit of God, You Are Welcome.”
What motivated me to sing an original song is because of the theme tagged {Holy Spirit}, and we are to sing and at least give meaning to the theme. So I decided to trust that same Holy Spirit to give me an original song, and here He comes and pours His spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the living God. Jesus said to His disciples, "I am going back," but He promised not to leave without a helper, and that helper is a comforter because He knows the journey is not easy, and if He did not send the Holy Spirit, much love for Him would wax cold because we’ve seen what happened with the disciples: they were scared of what would befall them, but it was when the Holy Spirit of God came upon them like a pillar of fire that they were comforted and filled with power to do wonders and to do the unspeakable.
Jesus saying to His disciples that there are things He will tell them, but they don’t have the ability to bear it, or they will not comprehend it. But they should let their heart be in trouble because His spirit came and revealed, His spirit explained, His spirit is wisdom, His spirit directs, and His spirit performs many things. The Spirit has the ability to heal, destroy, prosper, and do many things; our own is just the key to the voice of the spirit that is within us.
