Hello beautiful people! This is Hive Music Festival Week 156, Round 3. I’m @akwash360, and in this week’s edition of the music festival, I decided to do a cover of the song “Until I See Your Face” by Rev. Christopher Okolo, who happens to be a pastor, worshiper, and songwriter from the eastern part of Nigeria.
This song, Until I See Your Face, is a very powerful and spiritual piece. Each time I listen to it, it stirs up a deep hunger and desire in me to worship God even more. I see this song as one that wasn’t born out of mere human inspiration or sung with ordinary lips, but rather as a spirit-filled revelation from the Lord, meant to teach men how to worship and pray in truth and in spirit. It’s truly a song that glorifies the name of the Lord.
I would love to commend the songwriter for allowing God to use him so powerfully in creating this masterpiece. This song has inspired me greatly, and I believe it has touched many others as well.
Honestly, the composition and delivery of the song are superb. I also want to applaud the entire team for their dedication to ensuring the song was perfectly executed. Starting with the backup singers, they truly know their parts and delivered beautifully. Their voices blended harmoniously, which added sweetness and depth to the entire sound. They did exceptionally well, and I highly commend them for that.
The instrumentalists, too, are incredibly talented. The way they skillfully communicate through their instruments is simply amazing. Their contribution added so much life and beauty to this great track.
