Hello great people of the Afri-tunes community. I’m @akwash360, and in this 185th edition of the Afri-tunes prompt, I’ll be doing a cover of the song “You Have Done Me Well” by Solomon Lange, a renowned gospel minister in Nigeria whose songs have greatly blessed me over the years. With the level of commitment and dedication he and his team put into their work, it’s clear that they understand their calling and are fully devoted to achieving a common goal.
Personally, I love this song so much because it beautifully describes God’s love for me. From the point of creation up until where I am today, it has been God all the way. He continually shields and protects me, making provisions whenever necessary. At times when it seems like all hope is lost, God always sends help from the least expected places. That is why I hold this song so dearly, it reflects so much of God’s wonderful works in my life.
I also admire the structure of the song. The composition, arrangement, and stage presentation are truly amazing. I must highly commend the lead vocalist, the backup singers, and the instrumentalists for a job well done. The output was indeed superb.
